Literature Text

The Damsel, she sits atop her tower, oftentimes by the window. She looks out into the world. She has an empty mind. She is told what behaviors she must follow. She is obedient to a fault. Yet that is the reason for her existence. She is a female golem, a Doll. She is simply and pretty. With short hair, pink, unlike typical princesses. Rosy cheeks. Too blue of an eyeshadow which makes her purple, gumdrop eyes pop. She is a sweet lass, caring, but oh! Too sweet.

The Damsel is protected by a beast, sometimes called Primal. No one knows the beast's true form. Only that it lurks within shadows. It is not like the dragon or other-worldly beasts, which pounce on instinct. No. As Damsel is a rarity so must her protector.
Instead, Primal lurks and prowls the rescuer, choosing to strike him when he is weakest – at night. For as a knight's heroism shines with the light, so must it rest in darkness. And while he holds his Damsel close, believing the worst is never to come, Primal strikes. Spins him around. Then disappears. You see, Primal is a creature of true guerilla warfare. Waiting patiently to strike at his back, waning his patience.  Watching him as he slowly tires of this horrid game.
But does it kill? Not in the literal sense. Primal has more class than that. Instead, it devastates the knight in such a way, he becomes quite beyond repair (by normal means). Leaving the Damsel to pick up the pieces. And perhaps, if mercy permits her, to heal the knight before suicide becomes an option.
I wrote this a while back ago, in times of trouble. My live a rocky life sometimes...

Anyways, it has potential to be a story. This is more like character ideas than an actual story. I debated calling the girl something like "Candy" or "Daisy" but re-reading this, Damsel works just fine.
As for Primal, well, the name speaks for itself.

There can be many levels to this story. Depending on how you read and interpret.
And anyways, I really like this concept of an atypical damsel in distress story.

I haven't reached a happy ending yet. Maybe Damsel won't ever find one either...

Cool, i'd want to see this as a comic.
